hi guys, i got quite a weired problem. i changed my battery from my iphone 5 16 gb ios 7.
after i changed it it shows the connect to itunes symbol on the screen.
after the recovery was finished the iphone startet again in recovery mode.
putting the iphone in dfu mode was not possible because the hard reset with holding down the sleep button and the home button did not worked.
irep from ih8snow helped also nothing.
also tiny umbrella did not worked out.
last thing i tried was to generate a ipsw file that starts the iphone directly into the dfu mode. i edited my hosts file so that there were noch apple entries anymore, but when it do this, the recovery fails an ends with an error 39.
i repaired a lot of iphone displays batteries etc. but this is the first time i didnt worked well. and all that trouble with my personal iphone. damm.
do you guys have any tips for me to get back running?
