Thanks for having me.

Thanks for putting this site together. It's nice to know that there is a place you can go to for help and other phone related topics.

Not sure what to say, I suppose I can tell you about my phone interests. I've always been a geek for electronic devices, specifically ultra portable laptops (UMPC's), Handhelds, and of course phones.

My favorite line of phones is the Nokia Communicator series, which leads me to the next part of my introduction - My hatred for modern phones.

Don't get me wrong, phones today are great pieces of technology. But they're so uninteresting besides the internal hardware. Design wise, they're all candybars with a big screen and little else. These were always my least favorite types of phones, including candybars with keypads.

Flip phones were always neat, either they flip open to a little laptop (i.e. Nokia Communicators) or like the old school communicators from Star Trek. My second favorite were the slider phones that either slid out to provide you with a numerical keypad, or a QWERTY one.

I know there exists numerous cases with keypads that slide out, but it's not the same.

I have currently, or at one point, owned every Nokia Communicator that was released. My favorite to use is the Nokia E90. My favorite Communicator of all time is the classic Nokia 9000.

I'm working on getting my Communicator collection back, have three Nokia 9000i's and a Nokia 9000il as well as two E90's and a 9110i. I'm missing the 9210 and 9500. I'm also looking for the 9300 but that was never an "official" Communicator claims Nokia.

Right now I'm trying to fix up my functioning E90 and came here for help two years ago but first now decided to give it a serious try.

Thanks again for having me!
