iphone4s blacklisted

if my iphone4s is blacklisted is their a way to unlock it for me to make use of it when ever i try to activate 7.2 ios it says the device is unkown when i put it on to itunes it says contact apple your device needs servicing i feel someone sold me a iphone4s that has been blacklisted by apple any advise?
