Unable to write IMEI i9300 Asansam Box

Hello all,



I am trying to write an IMEI on a i9300 running 4.3. I have a Windows 7 machine.



I have installed All-In-One driver and the 2.4.5. All drivers have been successfully installed.



On the device I have Set UART to Modem and USB to PDA also Selected [1] LOG VIA UART (as instructed by the software).



When I connect via USB I get the following output:

Device Found!

Reading Phone Informations ...

Android Version : 4.3

IMEI : NULL

Checking Root ...OK

Phone Root OK. Continue..

Disabling Security ...Done!

Rebooting... OK!



Now Remove USB Cable and Wait Phone Powering Up Completely (Media Scanners Passed) Then insert UART cable to Phone to Continue



Delay 60 Seconds...



Phone reboots and plug in UART cable but it is not recognised.I get the following response:



Delay 60 Seconds...

Searching for phone on COM8 ...Fail!

Phone not found!

Operation Completed

Operation Time: 00:04:10



When I purchased the box I also purchased a kit of 5 cables. All of these are yellow and have the following written on them:



1. Sams Micro

530 K Ohm

ET 1129



2. Sams Micro

150 K Ohm

ET 1130



3. Micro USB

ET 1611



4. Sams Micro

620 K Ohm

ET 1128



5. Sams Micro

300 K Ohm

ET 1126





I have tried all of the cables but I get the same error. I think the problem might be the cable. Do I have the right cable to write IMEI on i9300 or would I need to purchase a new one?
