Ipad mini back flashing and no lcd display

I have a ipad mini



Repaired the the ****n fuse

the previous repairer had messed up the points.

So had to trace it to diode leg.



now when turned on I get the backlight on/ off flashing.

I have no display it stays like this..



any ideas what to check for.



Fuses near lcd are fine

have replaced diode few times is fine.
