LG G2 Verizon VS980 Stuck in fastboot mode

Hello,



I got a LG G2 VS980 in for repair recently, it says customer was trying to hardreset the device but now it's stuck on "Secure Booting Error! Cause boot certification verify"



Is a simply softawre flash needed or is it a hardware problem? :confused::confused:
