need to change imei

I purchased a phone that has the Verizon cdma and lte bands, so I thought it was unlocked for Verizon (it is unlocked for all other carriers) but I was wrong. I have a different Verizon phone that is older and also 4g lte with a sim. I would like to put the imei on my new phone so I can use it on Verizon.
