last week i had an 4th gen ipad stuck in restore mode tried to restore with no luck error 3194 so i took the logic board out and placed it into another base still had same problem so i took a closer look at the board to find the processor had been wet decided to clean with %99 alcohol then re flow on infrared reflow station re-assembled ipad and restored this time no problem :eek:
heaps of people seem to have this problem with many I devices but i would recommend doing some major trouble shooting before trying this
remember the centre of the chip must hit atleast 180.0c or the solder will not liquify
