IOS 6 - No Passcode help..should i upgrade to ios 7?

I bought a iPad loaded with ios 6 and dont have a passcode. if i do a recovery thru itune and upgrade to ios 7. will it ask for passcode again? and possibly findmyiphone lock?



does ios 6 findmyiphone linked to ios 7 findmyiphone?
