ipod touch 4 after replace charging connection its dead now?

Hi guys can some one tell me how to make ipod touch 4 alive i replaced charging connection after successfully replace when i install and try to check ipod no more turning on,can some one tell me what to do?i check shorting there no shorting what cud be wrong?
