T599 IMEI repair problems

I just purchased a z3x Box a few days ago, and just tried it out for the first time. The device is not communicating with the phone. I have it set to modem (in order to use com port) and I'm using the SAM C3300K UART cable that came with the box when told to switch to UART cable. However, there is no communication. I used the code *#7284#* and set UART/USB to modem.

I think everything is updated correctly, and phone is rooted + SU.
