Hi there.
I was hoping to get some insight into a topic that baffles me a little. There are Android apps connected to services that allow the user to make cheaper international phonecalls. The thing is, I really wonder how the authentifcation process works, since there is a billing system incorporated into their services, but DTMF is not possible with Android. The thing is, it works also on phones without wifi-/data-connection. I already asked this question on one of the stack-network sites and one poster suggested sip-trunking.
I just had a quick look at sip-trunking, but was unable to see how it could help to achive something like this.
