How to remove pattern without losing any data!

What is needed; phone w/ sdcard slot and sdcard.



Dev-Host - update.zip - The Ultimate Free File Hosting / File Sharing Service

1. download update.zip and put it in sdcard root.



2. boot your device to recovery menu (common combination: press volume up+menu+power)

You should see "apply update.zip from sdcard"



3. select it w/ menukey and you should be done!



4. exit and reboot!





If this doesnt work, you can use failsafe method!

1. download aroma filemanager from here

2. rename it to update.zip and move it to sdcard root.

3. see step 2. on first plan

4. go to /data/system/ and delete gesture.key and password.key

5. exit and reboot!





Notes;

If your phone doesnt have sdcard slot ( or you dont have card) you might need to install CWM recovery to use usb mount and move files.

I prefer failsafe method but its more risky because you can delete any files on your phone and brick it.
